An interracial meso-scale convection phenomenon,known as Marangoni effect,has been observed in many gas-liquid or liquid-liquid mass transfer processes [1,2].This interracial transport phenomenon,generated by the surface tension gradient induced by the existence of concentration gradient in the vicinity of the interface may give strong influence on the interracial mass transfer,and numerical analysis of this phenomenon may lead to a better understanding to the interracial mass transfer processes.In this paper,an approach based on Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) [3] is developed to simulate Marangoni convection for gas-fiquid interracial mass transfer.
