Stimuli-responsive organic dye based on cyanostilbene[1] was fimcfionalized to CdSe nanocrystal surface.The as-prepared quantum dot hybrids reveal a photo-tunable dual fluorescent characteristic:an inherent yellow emission from CdSe core and a blue one triggered by photoisomerization of the attached organic dye.
