Cesium iodide (CsI) is an important photocathode material due to its excellent photoelectric conversion property from ultraviolet (UV) to X-ray,and it is widely employed in current UV and X-ray photon imaging devices and detectors as X-ray photocathodes in the fields of inertial confinement fusion, astronomy physic and high energy physic research.
