In the previous two Asian Mycological Congresses, we started the workshop series on "Outcomes-based Teaching and Learning (OBTL) in Mycology".The broad concept of outcomes-based approach to teaching and leaming was introduced in the first workshop in 2009.In 2011, we explored how student learning outcomes could be enhanced through the design of various assessment tasks.
