In traumatic process of central nervous system (CNS), connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) regulates a wide range of cellar process, including angiogenesis and reactive gliosis.There is growing evidence that increased expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in acute CNS injury.However, the molecular mechanisms underlying CTGF-induced COX-2 expression are still undefined.In this study, we investigated the involvement of IκB kinase (IKK) and NFκB in CTGF-induced COX-2 expression in C6 glioma cells.
