IGFBP2 is a pleiotrophic polypeptide that synthesized in the brain but still largely unknown its functions at neonatal brain.To unmask the function IGFBP2,acute hippocampal slices(350 μm thick)were prepared from mice aged p14-p17 to record action potentials,fEPSP,LTP,m/sEPSC and m/sIPSC after bath application of IGFBP2 and from WT and igfbp2-/-mice.Western blot,qPCR,hippocampal neuronal culture,confocal microscopy of CA1,CA3,DG regions and water maze task were done.
