Objective :The pathogenic mechanisms of primary Sj(o)grens syndrome(pSS) remain largely unknown, in part a consequence of the heterogeneity of the disease. We quantitative detect serum IgG4 level in pSS patients, which may be an indicative of the underlying pathological patterns involved in pSS patients. Methods :This study included 171 pSS patients and 80 normal control people. The serum IgG4 level was detected by immune rate nephelometry.171 pSS patients were divided into two groups: ①The pSS patients with interstitial lung were 60.② The pSS patients without interstitial lung were 171.Results: The serum level of IgG4 in pSS patients was significantly higher than that of normal control team (P<0.05).② The serum level of IgG4 in pSS patients with interstitial lung was significantly higher than that of pSS patients without interstitial lung (P<0.05).Conclusion:This study showed that the serum IgG4 level was higher in pSS, especially in patients with interstitial lung, which may be helpful for further study.
