Objective: Lyme and related diseases are increasing in incidence and prevalence worldwide.Persons diagnosed with Lyme disease have a variety of debilitating symptoms and characteristics causing interference with mobility, balance, cognition, as well as headaches, joint pain, to name several.Visual complaints are often experienced and include photophobia, eyestrain, blurred vision at distance and at near ranges, frequent need to change the eyeglass prescription, seeing words move on the page when reading, spatial disorientation, etc.
