2010年春,西安市文物保护考古所在陕西省西安市长安区郭杜街道办事处配合一处新征地建设项目的考古发掘中,出土了3座可明确判断为唐代祢氏家族的墓葬,墓主为祖、父、子三代。这三座墓葬皆坐北朝南,为长斜坡墓道多天井墓葬,天井3至4个,大致排列为南北两排。北面有一座墓葬编号M13,位于南排墓葬的北侧略偏东,为唐云麾将军、左武卫将军、上柱国、来远郡开国公祢素士墓。南面分布着两座墓葬:东面一座墓葬编号M15,墓志现代被盗,与北部祢素士墓相距约20米,与西侧一墓相距
