Objective: To discuss the efficacy and safety of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) for the treatment of liver metastasis in gastric cancer. This study also aimed to analyze retrospectively the relationship between interventional treatment and prognosis. Methods: A total of 72 patients diagnosed with gastric cancer liver metastasis (GCLM) and benefited from a successful systematic chemotherapy were enrolled in the study from June 2006 to August 2011.The methods of the interventional treatment were summarized.Quantitative data were analyzed by ANOVA; qualitative information was assessed using Chi-square test.Te Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate the survival rate and log-rank test was conducted for comparison. The Cox regression model was used for multi-factor analysis.
