  Owing to its extremely high surface area as well as fantastic hydrophobic and mechanical, electrical properties, lipophilic graphene nanosheets have attracted much attention in many potential applications, such as superhydrophobic coating, antifouling, selfcleaning, eliminating oils and other toxic organic pollutants, graphene-based polymer composite materials and supercapacitor electrodes.Therefore, the dispersion of graphene sheets in organic solvents is an essential step during the formation of lipophilic graphene based materials.
