Antimony sulfides have draw considerable attentions not only for their potential application as thermoelectric materials,such as Sb2Te3,[1] Mo3Sb5Te2,[2] and AgSbxBi3-xS5[3] and nonlinear optical(NLO)materials,such as RE4GaSbS9(RE = Pr,Nd,Sm,Gd–Ho),[4] Ba23Ga8Sb2S38[5] and RE4InSbS9(RE = La,Pr,Nd)[6] but also because of their diverse structural chemistry,which arises partly from the stereoactive lone pair of electrons of the Sb3+ion.
