应用现代信息技术是现代科技和社会发展对教育的要求,是教育改革和发展的需要.随着教育技术从纯技术、教学辅助手段发展为有一定理论基础的学科,人类进入信息化社会,信息技术必将逐步革新传统的教学结构,改变传统的教学环境,推动教育教学本质的变化.目前,信息技术已全面渗透到医学教育教学全过程,在更新教育教学理念,提高课堂上授课质量、深化教学改革、提升科学化管理水平等方面取得了较好的成效.本文从教育技术对医学教育与的重要性和必要性、信息技术在医学教育中的应用、下一步利用信息技术推进医学教育教学质量等四个方面进行了阐述.同时,介绍了筹建中的中山大学医学网络与远程教育中心的基本设计思路.
