Research on environmental risk management in China has a short history.Current environmental management system of river basin is short in the scientific assessment,prevention and pre-warning,and comprehensive decision making of environmental risks.Because accidental pollution events occurred frequently in the recent years,various departments has started to emphasize on the prevention and emergency treatment,and performed some research on environmental risk caused by a certain serious pollution accidents and in the influenced areas of important water pollution controlling projects.Therefore,the paper tries to give a new idea on developing river basin environmental risk management in China.
