Yarn hairiness is one of key parameters influencing yarn appearance, yarn quality and fabric quality, so accurately measure yarn hairiness is advantageous to evaluate the yarn and fabric quality correctly.In this paper 3D yarn model and hairiness test model based on rigid cylinder are presented.
