Kajli and Hissardale breed showed significant (P＜0.001) differences in body weight among five different age groups.These age groups recorded positive correlation with height at the wither (HAW),body length (BL) and heart girth (HG) in Kajli and Hissardale sheep,which clearly indicate the effective use of linear body measurements as a tool to estimate the body weight of sheep under field conditions.
