Novel photo-responsive ABC 3-miktoarm star copolymers containing polypeptide chain were synthesized via polymer end modification, atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), click chemistry and ring open polymerization (ROP). Their chemical structures were characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR and GPC. The photo-responsive property of polymers was studied by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis). Honeycomb-patterned films of the star block copolymers were fabricated via static breath-figure method. Upon irradiation with a polarized light, the pores of honeycomb structure were elongated and deformed.
