The article uses questionnaires distributed and supplemented by interviews to investigate the language vitality, language use and language attitude of a Tibetan-Chinese bilingual community in Chrysanthemum Flower Village. The survey results showed that 93.5% of the participants had two or more language variants, and Tibetan and Tianese were the most important languages in the community. The participants believed that Tibetan, Chinese Putonghua, Tianzhu, Tibetan, and Chinese are all very useful. They hope that these languages will develop greatly or develop within a certain range. They hope that future generations will receive Tibetan, Chinese and English trilingual education and become multilingual people. The results of the survey also show that the social function of the Tibetan language is gradually weakening locally and only for the inter-family or acquaintances of the nation. The participants believed that the main reason for the weakening of Tibetan language function is the lack of local language environment and the insufficient implementation of the language policy formulated by the government.
