Liposomes are spherical vesicles consisting of lipid bilayers surrounding aqueous spaces,and drugs can be encapsulated in the phospholipid bilayer or the aqueous core.Doxorubicin (Dox) is an effective and widely used chemotherapeutic agent for cancer therapy.However,tumor resistant to doxorubicin limited its further success in clinic.At present,the resistance of cancer cells to multiple structurally unrelated chemotherapeutic drugs continues to be a major challenge in cancer treatment.
