The concept of tensor is a higher order generalization of vector and matrix.Because tensor methods take into account the inherent high-dimensional structure of the data,they are considered to have more potential than traditional matrix methods such as the SVD.In the recent years,interest in tensor methods recently expanded to signal and image processing and other areas,which initiates new idea and method for image and video processing.Tensor eigenvalues and decompositions are promising methods to process and analyze high-dimensional data.
