Rely upon the ability to reflect more than 90% of radiant heat, aluminized fabrics are widely used in fire proximity suit to protect against intense radiant heat during proximity fire fighting.In this study, the effects of different type of aluminized films, the structure of base fabrics and pretreatment to simulate the effect of repeated use on the radiant protective performance (RPP) of aluminized fabric were examined and graphically depicted those mechanisms.
