Near-infrared (NIR) laser-induced photothermal ablation (PTA) therapy has a great potential to revolutionize conventional therapeutic approaches for cancers, but it has been limited by difficulties in obtaining biocompatible and efficient photothermal nanoagents.To address this problem, we have designed and prepared three kinds of semiconductor nanomaterials as novel 980 m-laser-driven photothermal agents, including flower-Like CuS superstructures , Cu9S5 nanocrystals, PEGylated W18O49 nanowires.
