  A helicon wave plasma (HWP) discharge in experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) device with a toroidal magnetic field of 2 Tesla was investigated.The helicon wave plasma with electron density of 1012 cm-3 was produced with three different antenna configurations perpendicular to toroidal magnetic field and driven by a 13.56 MHz radio-frequency (RF) source at the power of 1500 W,the toroidal magnctic field of 2 T and the pressure (helium) of 1 Pa.
