MWCNTs(multi-walled carbon nanotubes)-doped SnO2 hollow microspheres have been successfully prepared via CMPS templates and physical-chemical method and the products were uniform after sintering at 400℃ for 2 hours.Gas sensors based on these MWCNTs-doped SnO2 hollow microspheres exhibited fast response and excellent selectivity to 1–200 ppm ethanol gas at 300℃.It showed great sensitivity at a low concentration(1 ppm)and operating temperature,so the MWCNTs-doped SnO2 hollow microspheres would be an ideal potential material for ethanol sensors.
