Objective In a previous study,miR-26a was overexpressed in tumour-bearing mouse livers.The study found that miR-26a overexpression resulted in the regression of these liver tumours.These results demonstrated the great potential of miR-26a in the treatment of HCC.However,it remains unclear whether the process of tumour regression is accompanied by the reversal of HCC cell proliferation and migration.
