A microchannel plates (MCP) is an array of miniature electron multipliers oriented parallel to oneanother,which is widely applied to enhanced imaging andultrafast optoelectronic devices.In this paper,a new technology for fabricating microchannel plates is proposed-anodic aluminum oxide microchannel-plates(AAO-MCP),developed for improving the performance of the conventional microchannel plates.
