2,3-Dihydroquinazoline-4(1H)-one derivatives belong to an important class of nitrogen heterocycles that attracted much attention because these quinazolinone scaffolds as core unit for a wide spectrum of nature plant alkaloids and pharmacological compounds and these derivatives exhibit various potential biological and pharmaceutical activities including anticonvulsant,antiparkinsonism,[1] antihypertensive,[2] antibacterial,[3] anticancer,[4] diuretic,[5] as well as mono amine oxidase inhibition and plant growth regulation.
