日本的中国史研究和东亚史研究提出的“传统社会”形成论=“近世化”论是20世纪90年代中期以后日本学术界具有代表性的系统性认识之一,它向中国史的历时性认识提出了重要的问题。本文探讨了该理论究竟是具有何种特征的历史认识,整理了其对中国史的历时性认识所提出的问题,并以自身的实证研究成果为线索,考察了“传统社会”形成论=“近世化”论向中国史的历时性认识提出的问题之一,即“唐宋变革”至16世纪这段历史以及唐宋变革所具有的历史意义。
