获得性免疫缺陷综合征(Aquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome简称AIDS,故译为“爱滋病”)是近年在美国首次发现的一种新的疾病。其特征为出现明显的细胞免疫缺陷、易于发生条件致病菌感染和罕见的恶性肿瘤。目前世界六大洲均有AIDS病例,全世界已发生20,000多例。1985年6月北京协和医院亦曾收治过1名患AIDS的美国旅游者,我国台湾于今年二月首次证实1例台北籍病人死于AIDS病。本病潜伏期长、传播快、病死率高,现已引起世界医学界
Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (Aquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome referred to as AIDS, it is translated as “AIDS”) is the first time in the United States in recent years, a new disease.
