Background: Circulating microRNAs expression profiles could be a promising biomarker for diagnosis, prognosis as well as therapeutic target for cancer patients.Currently quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction is a sensitive method to estimate the expression levels of circulating microRNAs.However there was no current consensus on reference gene for qPCR data analysis of circulating microRNAs.This study describes the identification and characterization of appropriate reference genes for normalization of serum microRNAs levels in gastric cancer patients and healthy people.Aims: Identify suitable reference genes for qPCR analysis of serum microRNA in gastric cancer patients.
