Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common metabolic dysfunction and heterogeneous endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age.It is characterized by hyperandrogenism, hyperinsulinemia, producing an increased number of oocytes, infertility and pregnancy.Even IVF has been widely used these years, recent data suggest that women with PCOS yield poor embryos, lower pregnancy and increased miscarriage rates.Therefore,a better understanding of how PCOS is related to abnormalities in factors and their impact on oocyte maturation and potential embryonic developmental competence, will be crucial to improving fertility and optimizing clinical stimulation, thus enhancing pregnancy outcomes in women with PCOS.Here we discuss the impact of insulin,androgen , IGF, VEGF on the fertility of PCOS.
