　　Objective To investigate the relationship between drug resistance and ampC mutants of Enterobacter cloacae.Methods Sensitivity tests were performed by the way of agar twofold dilution with the standard of NCCLS.AmpC enzyme was examined by cefoxitin three-dimensional test and PCR amplification of ampC structure gene were studied.Their necleotide sequences and deduced amino acid sequences were compared with E.cloacae p99.Results The sequences of resistant mutant strains showed homologous of 99% with E.ctoacae p99 and their deduced amino acid sequences had site-directed mutagenesis of Ala-58-Pro.Conclusion The mutuation of ampC structure gene may be associated with drug resistance in E.cloacae.
