Parental transcript legacy have important roles in fertilization and early embryo development.However, the biochemical metabolism is still largely unresolved that a parental environmental exposure experienced affects the fertilization of offspring via the transcript legacy.In this study, the parental environmental effects on fertilization of offspring were tested in Bombyx mori, an ideal lepidopteran model animal.
