In this study,we fabricated Li2TiO3 powders via a high-energy ball-milling method.After milling for 10 h,Li2TiO3 nanopowders with an average particle size of 86.7 nm were derived at 600 ℃ for 2 h.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy patterns exhibited single monoclinic structure for the Li2TiO3 ceramics from HEBM powders sintered at an optimum temperature of 1000℃ for 2 h.The samples of Li2TiO3 ceramics with fine grain sizes showed dense microstructures and excellent microwave dielectric properties(εr = 16.4,Q×f =54326 GHz,τf = 27.4 ppm/℃).All these results illustrated that HEBM is a simple and effective way in synthesizing Li2TiO3 ceramics for microwave applications.
