Solvent extraction of Ir(Ⅳ) and Rh(Ⅲ) have been performed from chloride solution by solvent extraction using Alamine336 and TBP as an extractant.It was found that the dependence of extraction percentage of both metals on HCl concentration was different between Alamine336 and TBP.In the case of Alamine336,extraction percentage of both metals decreased with HCl concentration,while extraction percentage by TBP increased with the increase of HC1 concentration up to 8M.Adding excess SnC12 to the H2IrCl6 solution had a negative effect on the extraction of Ir.
