Karenia mikimotoi is one of the most important HAB forming dinoflagellates at coastal sea area.Thisstudy was conducted to explore the potential utilization of DOP when dissolved inorganicphosphorus (DIP) is depleted in the ocean.To investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in thephosphorus nutrient metabolism,we performed gene differential expression analysis in K.mikimotoiusing suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) method.
