Background:CD4+ T cell is acknowledged as a key factor in the initiation phase of liver ischemia/reperfusion injury (IRI).The purpose of the current study is to validate the effect of antecedent near-term administration of antiCD25 monoclonal antibody (anti-CD25) PC61 on IR-induced liver injury and see whether this effect was mediated via modulation of CD4+ T cells.
