  Due to the emission of CFCs resulting from human activities,the concentrations of stratospheric ozone have continuously declined since 1980s.Considering the significance of stratospheric ozone for human health and atmospheric chemical processes,it is important to set up a global-scale network to measure the concentration of ozone for a long period.There are many ground-based measurement stations over the world,as well as many satellite instruments in operation for ozone monitoring.However,such monitoring stations are few in China.Nowadays,the increasing concern about atmospheric chemistry and the health hazard related to ozone requires setting up ozone monitoring stations in China.It is also of great importance for the validation of satellite measurement at different ground sites.
