Nitrido complexes (M≡N) are believed to be key intermediates in chemical and biological nitrogen fixation.They are also useful reagents for nitrogenation of organic compounds.We will describe our recent results on the reactivity of nitrido complexes of ruthenium(Ⅵ),osmium(VI) and manganese(V) bearing Schiff base ligands.
