This paper firstly proposes a method for point cloud indexing basing on the decimal Morton code,which improves the temporal and spatial efficiency of post processing.Then,by means of point cloud slicing,dimensions of point cloud is reduced and several point cloud slices are acquired.After circle fitting of each point loud slice,corresponding circles from the same trunk were matched by comparing horizontal distances between the average circle center and circle centers from different point cloud slices in each grid and corresponding cylinders of the same trunk from two pieces of scanning are matched with the application of certain matching algorithm.At last,horizontal displacement of land ground is acquired according to horizontal displacement of trunk axes of different scanning.
