Aim To study the effect of Semen litchi effective part group (SLEPG) on insulin resistance in human adipocyte.Methods Primary adipocyte was obtained from fat tissue in liposuction patient and insulin resistance model was built up with dexamethasone induction.Goppod method was used to determine glucose in culture supernatant and RTPCR was used to assay RETN of treated cells.Results SLEPG increased the glucose consumption and absorption in dexamethasoneinduced insulin resistance in primary adipocyte culture.SLEC inhibited the mRNA expression of RETN significandy.Conclusions SLEPG might improve insulin resistance in mature adipocyte.
