The extraction of vanadium (Ⅳ) from acidic leaching liquor of stone coal using Di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (D2EHPA) and tributyl phosphate(TBP) mixed solvent system has been investigated in detail.The effects of concentration of organic extractant, time for equilibration, acid concentration in the feed, and O/A ratio were studied.The results demonstrate that the extraction of V (Ⅳ) increase with the extractant concentration in the organic phase, as well as the equilibrium pH value.Extraction isotherms was obtained using the solvent mixture consisting of 15 vol.% D2EHPA and 5 vol.% TBP in kerosene with acidic leaching liquor, The loaded organic phases stripping with 1.5mol/L H2SO4 at 40℃.The extraction behavior of other associated elements, such as iron, aluminum,magnesium, calcium, and Phosphorus were also studied.
