Background: The homologous FlgM proteins have varieties of disordered degree and temperature adaptability, and the disordered degree is related with high temperature adaptability. It is one of the strategies naturally for adaptation to high temperature that the disordered degree is converted from a fully disordered state to a semidisordered state. The thermophile aquifex aeolicus FlgM protein (AAFlgM) is intrinsically disordered proteins, and also semidisordered proteins. It remains unknown how the conformation transitions along with temperature at atomic-level.
