Context TGF-b1 regulates bone metabolism,mediating bone turnover during postmenopause.Sclerostin negatively regulates Wnt-signaling pathway,also being important for postmenopausal bone loss.Little is known about the correlation between serum TGF-b1 and Sclerostin during menopause.Objective The aim of this study was to observe the changes of serum TGF-b1 and Sclerostin during menopause,and evaluate the relationships between them.Design,Setting,and Participants We conducted a cross-sectional observational study of healthy pre-and postmenopausal women.Intervention(s):There were no interventions.
