Objective: To studytherelevancebetweentheindexofBMD,BMI,WHRbyDXAandthepredispositiontobreastcancer. Methods: Thisresearchhasbeenapprovedbythehospitalsethicscommittee,whichabidesbyHIPPA.ByadoptingGEProdigy DXA,thisresearchexamined84femalevolunteerswhowerehistopathologicaldiagnosedasbreastcancer(rangeinagefrom34 to78,themedianageis53),measuringtheBMDofspineandhips.Duetotheprincipleofstatistics,thisresearchrandomly chose84females,whocheckedbyDXAinphysicalexaminationoroutpatientservice,asthecontrolgroup.Theyrangeinage from32to77,andthemedianageis54.5.Noneofthemhasanyhistoryofmalignancyorlong-termuseexogenichormones. Thedataofeachtwogroupwererecorded,includingheight,weight,BMIandWHR.ThecalculationformulaofBMIis: BMI=Weight(kg)/Height(m2).Thenormaldistributionisillustratedbymeanandstandarddeviationwhilenon-normaldistribution isshownbymedian.Theanalysisadoptedt-testornon-parametrictest(Kruskal-Wallis),whichwasstatisticallysignificantwhen therewassignificantdifference(P<0.05). Results: TheBreastCancerGrouprangeinagefrom34to78,themedianageis53,theaverageheight,weightandBMIare 158.54±4.67m、63.76±9.35kgand25.33±3.19,WHRare35.27±9.14、27.16±4.56,theweightisdividedinto4groups,whichare underweight:3.57%(3/84),normal:39.29(33/84),overweight:50%(42/84)andobesity:7.14(6/84).TheresultofBMD: osteoporosis:15,decreasing:32andnormal:37.TheControlGrouprangeinagefrom32to77,themedianageis54.5,the averageheight,weightandBMIare158.98±4.55m、61.61±11.72kg和24.29±4.13,WHRare30.79±8.32、25.81±5.40,weightis dividedinto4groups,whichareunderweight:5(5.95%0),normal:59.53(50/84),overweight:26.19%(22/84)andobesity: 8.33(7/84).TheresultofBMD:osteoporosis:19,decreasing:33andnormal:32.Thecomparativedifferenceofheight,BMI,age andBMDbetweentwogroupswerenostatisticalsignificance(P>0.05),whilethecomparativedifferenceofweight,WHR,whole bodyfatandbodycompositionisofstatisticalsignificance(P<0.05). Conclusion:Thebreastcancerhasnodistinctrelevancewiththefemalesheight,BMIandBMD,however,theobesityandhigh fatcontentareriskfactoroffemalebreastcancer.
