All cellular activities are determined by proteomic homeostasis, but our current knowledge of real-time proteomedynamics islimited despite recent progresses in the MS-based study of steady-state proteomes.We have developeda Luciferase-Assisted Proteome Detection (LAPD) proteomic recourse composed of Arabidopsis transgenic linesconstitutivelytranscribingmRNAs encodingapproximately 10% of Arabidopsis proteome, especially the low abundant proteins that are usually difficult to study by the MS-based proteomics approaches.
