Fusarium head blight (FHB) is a severe disease of wheat worldwide which greatly decreases the yield and grain quality.Fhb5 is a major quantitative trait locus (QTL) against Fusarium graminearum infection in the resistant wheat germplasm Wangshuibai. In previous study, it was precisely mapped to a 0.3 cM interval flanked by Xgwm304 and Xgwm415 on chromosome 5AS.
