Shuhui527 (SH527) which was widely used elite indica restorer in China, was used as recurrent parent, 2004 and TKM9 as donors for developing two BC2F4 selected backcrossing populations (SH527/2004, SH527/TKM9).Eight important agronomic traits, including plant height, panicle length, panicle number per plant, filled-grain number per panicle, total grain number per panicle, spikelet fertility, thousand grain weight and grain yield were conducted for phenotypic evaluation and QTL mapping under normal control and low nitrogen stress conditions.
