  Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) show the most promising applications amongst the list of new generation of structural materials.CNTs, in the form of fiber, are supposedly stronger and tougher than any other natural or synthetic fibres.However, potential applications are hampered, in part, by the lack of precise understanding on how a variety of binding materials interact with CNT fibers.Epoxy, a common binding material, has been thought to have limited adhesiveness and wettability with CNT fibers.
