Background: Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been reported to play important roles in cancer development. To date, mRNAs, microRNAs and proteins have been used for prognostic signature identification in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but the potential prognostic value of lncRNAs is still unclear. In this study, we attempted to identify a lncRNA signature to predict the prognosis of NSCLC patients.
